This is not a traditional broking role. Instead, you’ll act as an extension of our network brokers’ businesses, providing technical, processing, and operational support that allows them to focus on client relationships and business growth.

🔷 Purpose of the Role
As an Account Executive within our Broker Partnering team, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality broking support services to network brokers across Australia.
Leveraging your insurance broking experience, you’ll review risks, manage policy processing activities, provide technical guidance, and ensure transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and compliantly.
You’ll work closely with brokers, insurers, clients, and internal teams to deliver a seamless service experience while maintaining strong quality and compliance standards.
✨ What You’ll Do
·Provide technical and administrative broking support to network brokers.
·Review risks, policy structures, endorsements, and policy wordings for accuracy.
·Manage renewals, endorsements, new business, and general processing activities.
·Liaise with insurers to obtain information, resolve processing matters, and clarify underwriting requirements.
·Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory, insurer, and internal requirements.
·Maintain accurate records and documentation across brokering workflows.
·Keep brokers informed of task progress, turnaround times, and outstanding requirements.
·Support continuous improvement initiatives and service excellence outcomes.
·Promote and champion the value of CBN’s Broker Partnering services.
·Maintain industry knowledge and fulfil ongoing CPD requirements.
💡 What You’ll Bring
You are an experienced insurance professional who enjoys the technical side of broking and takes pride in delivering exceptional service and accurate outcomes.
You’ll bring:
·3 to 5 years’ experience in general insurance broking.
·Tier 1 or Diploma of Insurance Broking.
·Strong knowledge of insurance products, policy structures, and broking processes.
·Experience using broking platforms, insurer portals, and CRM systems.
·Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
·Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
·The ability to manage competing priorities and meet service deadlines.
·A collaborative and customer-focused approach.
