About Holistic Dental Care
Holistic Dental Care is a dentist owned, purpose led practice within the Coastal Dental Care network, located at Emerald Lakes in Carrara. Led by Lead Dentist and Practice Owner Dr Carla Simoes, our team delivers dentistry through a holistic lens — recognising the connection between oral health, physical wellbeing and emotional balance.
We focus on biocompatible materials, minimally invasive techniques and collaborative care, providing patients with thoughtful, personalised treatment in a calm and supportive environment. This is dentistry with intention, not volume.
About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Dentist to join our multidisciplinary team as a commissioned clinician, working 2–3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). You’ll step into an established patient base and enjoy clinical autonomy, supported by a highly engaged nursing and administrative team who share a genuine commitment to patient centred care.
This opportunity suits a dentist who wants to practise at a higher standard — with time, trust and the freedom to deliver care aligned to holistic health principles.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing high quality general and restorative dentistry with a holistic focus
- Delivering treatments including fillings, crowns and bridges, extractions, recalls, implants and oral surgery (within scope)
- Building long term, trust based relationships with patients
- Collaborating with support staff and allied health professionals
- Maintaining strong clinical governance, ethical standards and infection control
- Contributing positively to a values driven, respectful team culture
What we’re looking for
Essential
- AHPRA registered Dentist with no restrictions
- Experienced with dental implants
- Valid Australian work rights (no sponsorship available)
- Strong clinical capability and sound diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient rapport
- A collaborative, professional and patient first mindset
Preferred
- Experience or strong interest in holistic dentistry
- Implants and/or oral surgery experience
- Commitment to continued professional development
- Calm, confident and empathetic chairside manner
