Description

Business Partner – Inclusive Employment Australia

Ready to Make a Difference? At CoAct, we exist to help people create positive, lasting change.

We’re looking for a commercially focused Business Partner – IEA to join our national team and drive performance outcomes across a diverse network of service partners within the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program.

This is a senior, performance-led role operating at regional level, where you will work across multiple providers to lift results, manage risk, and embed targeted improvement strategies at scale.

You will bring a strong background in DES or IEA at Regional Manager level, with proven experience leading performance across multiple sites or contracts. You’re confident using data to diagnose issues, hold providers to account, and influence operational and senior leaders to deliver measurable improvement in outcomes and client impact.

This is not a pure consulting role – success in this position requires prior accountability for multi-site performance and contract outcomes within DES or IEA environments.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager – IEA/TTW, you’ll operate across a diverse national network of service partners, working with multiple providers simultaneously to drive consistent performance uplift and improved client outcomes.

This is not a traditional one-to-one business partnering role. You will operate at a systems level, analysing network-wide performance, identifying variation and underperformance, and driving targeted improvement strategies tailored to each provider’s context, capability and maturity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive performance outcomes across a portfolio of service partners, working with the General Manager – IEA on delivery against contractual measures
  • Develop tailored action plans and improvement strategies with service partners
  • Provide strategic guidance, support and performance coaching
  • Conduct workforce planning and performance reviews aligned to service delivery models
  • Create reports, presentations and resources that translate complex information into actionable insights
  • Facilitate webinars, training sessions and Business Partner forums
  • Support projects and initiatives focused on innovation and operational improvement
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the employment services sector
  • Ensure compliance obligations and contractual requirements are met

About You

You’re a proactive and relationship-focused professional who enjoys working collaboratively to create real impact. You’ll bring:

  • Experience within Disability Employment Services (DES), Workforce Australia, IEA or similar employment services programs
  • Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting and presenting performance and contract data
  • Excellent report writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Previous experience in strategic planning, business development, consulting or performance-focused roles
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments
  • Confidence facilitating discussions, presentations and training sessions
  • Experience with CRM and reporting systems (JobReady and MODE highly regarded)
