The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Service Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of reliable, secure and high-performing IT services across the organisation. As Climate Friendly continues to grow, this role plays a critical part in ensuring our technology services are scalable, well-governed and aligned with business needs.
This is a leadership role that combines operational delivery, vendor management and project execution, with a strong focus on service reliability and continuous improvement.
About the Role
The Senior Service Delivery Manager leads day-to-day IT service delivery, operational governance, and vendor management for the IT Systems and Infrastructure function. The role ensures stable, reliable, and compliant IT services through effective IT service management processes, strong stakeholder engagement, and disciplined operational practices.
You will oversee service performance, manage operational teams, and ensure the successful transition of transformation initiatives into BAU operations. You will also lead vendor relationships and drive continuous improvement across service delivery, user experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
IT service delivery and operations
- Lead day-to-day BAU IT service delivery across Microsoft 365, endpoint services, identity management, and cyber operations
- Ensure services meet agreed service levels and performance standards
- Act as the escalation point for service-impacting incidents and operational issues
Service management and continuous improvement
- Own ITIL-aligned processes including incident, request, change, problem, and knowledge management
- Maintain service catalogue, SLAs, and operational documentation
- Drive continuous improvement in service quality, efficiency and user satisfaction
Team leadership
- Line-manage operational IT roles, including workload allocation, objective setting, feedback and development
- Build team capability and support a high-performing and engaged team environment
Vendor and stakeholder management
- Manage relationships with external partners including procurement, SLA monitoring, contract performance and service reviews
- Manage remediation of performance issues and ensure value from vendor relationships
Project delivery and transition
- Lead delivery of IT uplift projects in coordination with the Azure Solutions Architect
- Support planning, resourcing, risk management, stakeholder communication and transition to BAU
About You
- 7+ years’ experience in IT service delivery, operations or project delivery
- Proven experience managing IT teams and service operations
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and service management practices
- Experience managing vendor relationships and service agreements
- Experience delivering IT projects in enterprise environments
- Understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure and enterprise IT systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience with service platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
- ITIL Foundation or project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP or Agile
- Experience in sustainability, climate or mission-driven organisations
