About the Role

As our Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll play an important role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive. Working collaboratively with our educators, you’ll deliver high-quality educational programs that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned learning programs that reflect each child’s strengths, interests, and developmental needs
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development
  • Build strong partnerships with families through open and respectful communication
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to maintain a positive and supportive team culture
  • Maintain accurate documentation and educational records
  • Participate in ongoing professional learning and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You’ll be a motivated educator who is passionate about quality early childhood education and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

You’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
  • At least 6 months’ post-qualification experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills
  • A current Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one)

About Nightcliff and Farrar ELC

Our campus based in Nightcliff offers both an Early Learning Centre and Outside School Hours Care program while. While Our Farrar Centre is ELC. Our experienced team embraces play-based learning, outdoor exploration, and meaningful connections with families to support children’s confidence and successful transition to school. It’s a vibrant, community-focused environment where educators are encouraged to innovate, collaborate, and make a genuine impact every day.
