The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take full ownership of CHG’s technology strategy, architecture, and execution.
Your mandate is simple:
Build a technology function that directly drives EBITDA, scale, and enterprise value.
You will lead a team across engineering, IT, and AI/automation, with responsibility for:
- Designing a scalable, acquisition-grade platform
- Deploying AI and automation across the business
- Enabling international expansion
- Driving measurable improvements in margin, efficiency, and revenue
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the core of CHG’s growth strategy.

Automation & AI: Deploy AI agents across the business to reduce manual effort and drive efficiency

Platform & Architecture: Build a scalable, secure, acquisition-ready tech stack

Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing, remote-first technology team with strong standards and accountability

- Clear reduction in cost per student and operational overheads
- Deployment of AI and automation across key business functions
- Improved conversion, speed-to-enrolment, and student lifecycle efficiency
- A scalable, well-architected platform that supports international growth
- Strong alignment between technology initiatives and commercial outcomes (EBITDA uplift)
The Expertise You Bring
You are a commercially astute technology leader who combines strategic thinking with execution. You will bring:

Leadership: 10+ years in senior technology roles (CTO, Head of Tech, VP Engineering)

Commercial Focus: Proven ability to link technology to revenue, margin, and growth

Technical Depth: Experience in AI/automation, system architecture, integrations, and cloud platforms

Execution: Clear communicator with a bias for action and delivering measurable outcomes
