📍 Location: Cessnock Multipurpose Children’s Centre

📅 Shifts: Split shifts during school terms (6:15am – 9:30am & 2:30pm – 6:00pm), block shifts during vacation care

Are you passionate about working with children and creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment? We are looking for enthusiastic OOSH Educators to join our team, with an exciting Team Leader opportunity available!

About the Role:

As an OOSH Educator, you will:

✅ Plan and implement creative and engaging activities for children

✅ Supervise and support children during play and learning activities

✅ Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

✅ Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment

As a Team Leader, you will:

✅ Lead and support a team of educators to deliver high-quality programs

✅ Assist with rostering, compliance, and program development

✅ Foster a positive, inclusive, and fun learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

🔹 Strong communication and teamwork skills

🔹 Passion for working with children and creating engaging experiences

🔹 Ability to plan and organise activities effectively

🔹 Commitment to child safety and well-being

Requirements:

✅ No formal qualifications required (Approved OOSH/Early Childhood qualifications desirable)

✅ Working with Children Check (WWCC) – mandatory before starting

✅ Provide First Aid in an education and care setting HLTAID012 – Mandatory before starting

✅ Previous experience working with children – desirable

✅ Identify & Report Children & Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 – desirable
