About the role

Centurion Lifting Services is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to support the day-to-day delivery of our Perth Inspection division, based in Welshpool. This hands-on role suits a candidate with previous inspection industry experience and knowledge of lifting equipment, NDT, LEEA requirements, and onshore/offshore operations managing small teams. You will report to the InSPEC Business Line Manager and will coordinate activities, support field technicians, and ensure accuracy in job documentation, purchasing, quoting, and invoicing while working closely with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating daily operational activities to ensure an efficient and effective inspection workflow
  • Allocating and scheduling technicians to meet client commitments and operational requirements
  • Providing operational support to field personnel to enable safe, compliant, and high‑quality inspection delivery
  • Facilitating weekly operations meetings to drive site performance, communication, and alignment
  • Monitoring job progress and proactively identifying scheduling, resourcing, or workflow issues
  • Ensuring vehicle, tools, and inspection equipment readiness and availability
  • Coordinating job bookings, travel arrangements, and preparation of all required job documentation
  • Reviewing job packs and inspection reports for completeness and accuracy prior to invoicing
  • Processing purchasing requests, quotations, and invoices within delegated financial authority
  • Maintaining accurate operational records, databases, and compliance documentation
  • Communicating professionally and effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement in operational and administrative processes
  • Ensuring compliance with all SOPs, safety standards, and relevant regulatory requirements

Selection Criteria & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in inspection operations, lifting services, or a similar industry (required)
  • Previous experience experience in a leadership role (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of organising 
  • High attention to detail in documentation, reporting, quoting, and invoicing
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise competing demands
  • Confident communicator with clients, technicians, and internal stakeholders
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and business systems
  • Ability to adapt to changing operational priorities
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum C-class)
  • Unrestricted permanent right to work in Australia
  • National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
