Description

The Opportunity

CBC Group is an agile Facilities Maintenance business with a national footprint. We currently have an opportunity for a Site Supervisor (Construction Coordinator). You will be the primary lead on the ground, ensuring the seamless execution of projects within our busy Renovations team. Reporting directly to the Renovations Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for controlling multiple sites across Sydney, coordinating trades, and managing subcontractors to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. As well as supervising there will be times when you’ll need to jump on the tools to get things done or show others what’s required.

About the Role:

  • Site Control: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations across multiple concurrent renovation sites, ensuring all works align with project timelines.
  • Trade Coordination: Manage and direct subcontractors and internal trades (Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing), ensuring they understand their specific deliverables and deadlines.
  • Operational Logic: Apply a deep understanding of the construction life cycle to manage trade dependencies and prevent scheduling bottlenecks.
  • Safety & Quality: Ensure every site is executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and technical accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the technical bridge between the site and management, providing clear updates on progress and resolving site-specific issues as they arise.

 About You:

  • Technical Foundation: You must come from a technical trade background— Building or Carpentry.
  • Site Supervision Experience: Proven success in a Site Supervisor or Coordinator role, ideally within a small-to-mid-tier builder or maintenance firm.
  • High-Volume Expertise: You are comfortable managing multiple minor-to-medium scale renovation projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership Presence: The ability to lead, motivate, and manage different personalities and trade styles on a daily basis.
  • Professionalism: While you are “on the tools” at heart, you possess the professional communication skills to translate site complexities into clear updates for the Renovations FM.
