About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator (Level 2 & 3) who is passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of NDIS participants. This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow their own portfolio within a supportive and inclusive network.

As an Independent Contractor, you will manage your own schedule and workload while ensuring participant outcomes are achieved and billable targets are met. You’ll also contribute to business development through referrals, networking, and relationship building within your community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 and/or Level 3 Support Coordination to NDIS participants in line with their NDIS plans and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with participants, families, and support networks, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • Coordinate supports and services across mainstream, community, and funded providers to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Conduct plan reviews, monitor budgets, and assist participants in building capacity and independence.
  • Meet individual billable targets while maintaining compliance with NDIS quality and safeguarding standards.
  • Engage in business development activities, including networking and participant referrals.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation in accordance with NDIS requirements.

About You

You are a compassionate, values-driven professional with experience supporting people with complex needs. You’re motivated by meaningful work and thrive when managing your own time and outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Support Coordinator (Level 2 and/or 3).
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, funding categories, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting participants with psychosocial, physical, or intellectual disabilities.
  • Lived experience or strong understanding of LGBTQIA+ community needs and sensitivities.
  • Ability to meet billable targets while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
  • ABN and capacity to operate as an independent contractor.
  • Current Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working With Children Check (or equivalent).
  • Reliable internet access and ability to work remotely.

Desirable:

  • Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or a related discipline.
  • Established network within NDIS, community, or allied health sectors.
  • Experience in business development, referral partnerships, or participant engagement.
