The High Risk Team (HRT) Integration Specialist supports the effective operation of the HRT for the Capricorn Region by coordinating referral documentation, facilitating case updates, and assisting in the administration of multi-agency processes responding to domestic and family violence involving high or imminent risk.

Working under the guidance of the HRT Coordinator, this role contributes to timely triage, accurate case tracking in Infoxchange, interagency communication and meeting preparation. The Integration Specialist promotes culturally safe, trauma informed and victim-survivor-centred practice across all aspects of their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with triage and processing DFV referrals, ensuring completeness of risk assessment information.
  • Prepare agendas, case summaries, and minutes for HRT meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records and safety action updates in Infoxchange.
  • Liaise with HRT member agencies to clarify case information and confirm follow-up actions.
  • Support a culture of collaboration, cultural safety, and best-practice across all interactions.

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor-level qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services
  • Experience in Domestic Family Violence, child protection, or community services.
  • Current C or CA class Driver’s Licence (QLD).

Core competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Understanding of DFV risk factors, safety frameworks, and trauma-informed practice.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to collaborative multi-agency teams.
  • Proficiency with Infoxchange, Microsoft Office, and electronic record-keeping.
