ABOUT THE ROLE
Collaborate with the Properties Team Leader to execute projects aligned with the established maintenance program. Provide support for property maintenance and external agency liaisons.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain a part-time position working 9 days a fortnight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work as directed by the Properties Team Leader in the completion of internal and external projects, working with the developed program of maintenance
- Assistance with the maintenance of current properties, future properties, and external agencies
- Assisting with painting, patching holes in plasterboard
- Assisting with joinery, carpentry, repairing furniture, doors, locks, curtains, lights,
equipment, and other tasks which may arise
- Daily follow-up and prioritising of any matters raised by maintenance crew or cleaners
- Other general maintenance duties
- Moving of furniture
- Bond Cleaning
- Gardening
- Administration, report writing and compliance responsibilities
- Contribute to a positive work culture
- Compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act
Skills & Experience
Essential
- General Construction (White Card)
- 2 years minimum experience in a building trades or similar role
Desired
- Certificate/Licence qualifications in a suitable trade
- Knowledge within a not-for-profit community service setting
