Description

About Carlton Football Club

Carlton Football Club is one of Australia’s oldest and most prominent sporting institutions. Founded in 1864, the Club is headquartered at IKON Park in Carlton North – a world-class facility that reflects our commitment to both high-performance sport and a genuinely inclusive environment. We are passionate about our culture and proud of the community we have built. Our values shape everything we do – how we work, how we lead, and how we support each other.

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and driven Video Producer to join our Creative Team. Reporting to the Senior Video Producer and working alongside our Video, Design and Content teams, you’ll play a hands-on role in producing compelling content that connects our audience, tells unique stories, and strengthens the Carlton brand.

This is a role for someone who sees storytelling as a craft – someone who brings energy and ideas to every brief, and takes pride in content that genuinely moves people.

What You’ll Do

  • Film, photograph and edit across longform, shortform, and match-day outputs, with a key focus on Carlton’s social media content plan.
  • Develop creative video concepts and deliver production across campaign briefs aligned to commercial, membership, retail, and ticketing objectives.
  • Produce video and photo content that creates genuine value for Club partners in collaboration with the Commercial team.
  • Support paid media objectives by delivering video assets aligned to marketing placements and campaign strategy.
  • Contribute to a consistent, high-quality Carlton brand experience through considered storytelling across all outputs.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1 to 2 or more years of experience in video production; sports industry or sports marketing experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Confidence with photography and video equipment, and strong capabilities with Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Premiere Pro.
  • Sound knowledge of video techniques across pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • A clear understanding of content production across multiple digital platforms, including an awareness of current and emerging content trends.
  • Strong visual storytelling instincts and a creative, energetic disposition – you’re always looking for the next great story.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A genuine understanding of AFL and its fans.
  • Motion graphics experience and an understanding of brand development are a bonus.

Culture & Benefits

Working at Carlton means being part of something bigger than the day job. You’ll be supported through flexible working, learning and development opportunities, and a range of benefits including Club membership, café, retail and partner discounts – all from one of Australia’s most iconic sporting venues.

Please submit your application including your resume and cover letter by Friday 3 July 2026, noting applicants may be contacted sooner.
