Two of our established swim schools are looking for leaders to join our team and support
their continued growth.
We have two exciting opportunities available in Queensland at Carlile Swim Paddington and Mount Ommaney. These well-established centres are continuing to grow, and we’re looking to strengthen our leadership teams to support that growth.
This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step into, or grow, their leadership while playing a key role in program quality, team development and centre performance.

Carlile Swim has been a world leader in aquatic education for almost 80 years. Founded by swimming pioneers Forbes and Ursula Carlile, the organisation has shaped generations of swimmers through industry-leading programs, innovation, and a deep commitment to safety and care.
Carlile Swim pioneered Australia’s first commercial swim school, built the first indoor teaching pool for toddlers, and led the way in teaching babies to swim. The Role
Reporting to the Swim School Manager, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of our learn-to-swim program. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will be actively involved in teaching, supporting your team and ensuring consistent, high-quality program delivery.
You will work closely with the leadership team to support growth, improve processes and build a strong, positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support swim teachers through mentoring and regular feedback
- Deliver and maintain high-quality lesson standards across the program
- Teach and supervise lessons, leading by example
- Support rostering, scheduling and day-to-day program operations
- Monitor performance and support team development
- Contribute to a positive, safe and high-performing team culture
- Support centre growth through strong program delivery and team engagement
- Ensure compliance with WHS, child safety and operational standards
About You
You are a confident and motivated leader who enjoys developing people and delivering great outcomes.
You bring:
- Experience teaching swimming or working within structured programs
- Confidence leading or mentoring team members
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Passion for water safety and helping children succeed
We also welcome candidates with transferable skills from education, coaching or other
people-focused roles.
