Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter

Burton Demolition & Recycling is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics / Diesel Fitters to keep our fleet of trucks, mobile plant and crushing equipment running smoothly across our Burton operations. About the Roles

We have multiple positions available:

• Crushing Yard: crushers, screens, loaders, excavators and heavy mobile plant
• Recycling Plant: trucks, loaders, telehandlers, excavators and recycling equipment

What You will be doing

• Breakdown and fault finding
• Preventative maintenance and servicing
• Diesel, hydraulic and electrical diagnostics
• Repairs on loaders, excavators, crushers, trucks and mobile plant
• Safety checks and accurate service records

About You

• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Technology
• Strong experience with heavy plant, hydraulics and diesel engines
• Confident with diagnostic and working independently
• Safety-focused and reliable
• HR Licence, Forklift (desirable)
• Experience in demolition, crushing, waste or recycling (desirable)
