Burton Demolition is growing and we’re looking for multiple experienced HC Drivers to join South Australia’s largest demolition company.
If you’re confident driving in tight metro environments, experienced with manual gearboxes, and want consistent local work with a strong team culture, we want to hear from you.
All work is Adelaide metro-based, meaning you’ll be home every night while working across demolition and excavation projects alongside experienced operators and crews.
The Role
- Operating HC trucks across demolition and excavation sites
- Driving manual fleet vehicles including Western Star trucks
- Navigating suburban streets and tight-access job sites
- Reversing into confined spaces safely and efficiently
- Transporting materials, bins and equipment between sites
- Opportunity to operate hook lift trucks
- Completing pre-starts, inspections and basic paperwork
- Working closely with supervisors, operators and site crews
- Following company procedures and safety requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Current HC Licence
- Minimum 2 years truck driving experience
- Demonstrated experience driving manual and automatic fleets.
- Previous experience driving Western Star manual fleet vehicles preferred
- Good knowledge of Adelaide metro roads and surrounding areas
- Confident working in tight metro environments
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to use technology and company systems
- Construction, waste, excavation or demolition experience highly regarded
