Burton Demolition is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our growing team.

We are looking for operators with demolition experience across residential, commercial and industrial projects. While residential demolition experience is advantageous, this role is intentionally broad to attract quality operators from all demolition backgrounds in a tight market.
At Burton Demolition, our operators are supported properly on site so they can focus on safe and efficient demolition work. Our projects are planned and prepared before mechanical demolition works commence, helping reduce risk and making the operator’s role easier.

About the Role
- Operating excavators on demolition projects
- Residential, commercial and industrial demolition works
- Working closely with site crews and supervisors
- Daily pre-starts and machine maintenance checks
- Following company procedures and safety requirements
- Working efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Skills & Experience
- Previous excavator operating experience within demolition
- Experience across residential, commercial or industrial demolition projects
- Strong safety and site awareness
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- White Card essential
- Relevant machine tickets/licences preferred
- Experience using demolition attachments including grabs, hammers and shears highly regarded
- Reliable, motivated and takes pride in equipment and workmanship
