Demolition Salvage & Asset Recovery Specialist

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Salvage & Asset Recovery Specialist to pull valuable items out of houses and commercial sites before demolition. You’ll walk the site, spot what’s worth saving, remove it safely, load it up, and get it ready for resale. This role suits someone who enjoys physical work, knows building materials, and can see value where others don’t.

Key Responsibilities

• Walk demolition sites and identified salvageable items
• Remove and recover materials: solar panels, tanks, hot water systems, sheds, windows, doors, kitchens, timber, steel and more
• Load, store and prepare items for resale
• Take photos and list items online
• Hand simple customer inspections and handovers
• Work independently across Adelaide sites

About You

• Practical, hands-on and confident on tools
• Experience in demolition salvage, construction or recycling
• Good eye for valuable materials
• Comfortable dealing with buyers and contractors
• Driver’s licence essential
• Forklift or truck licence (highly regarded)
• Experience buying/selling used material
