About the Role

Buckland Aged Care Services is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to provide maternity leave coverage on a fixed-term 12-month contract.

You will deliver end-to-end HR coordination and administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, accuracy and efficiency across recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, workforce documentation and HR systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding including interviews, background checks, medicals and compliance requirements

• Prepare employment contracts, variations and amendments, ensuring accurate HR and payroll updates

• Schedule staff orientations

• Manage offboarding processes

• Support workplace investigations, including coordination, minutes and outcome documentation

• Maintain compliance requirements including NDIS Worker Clearances, AHPRA registrations, certificates, visas and passports

• Arrange student placements and associated documentation

• Manage parental leave arrangements and communication with management and rostering teams

• Prepare HR correspondence and documentation

• Oversee uniforms, competencies and appraisals ensuring compliance

• Maintain position descriptions and duty statements in accordance with management requirements

• Maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date

About You

Essential

• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail

• Excellent time management and ability to manage competing priorities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Highly Regarded

• Experience using HR Information Systems

• Understanding of workforce compliance requirements within aged care
