Description

We’re looking for an experienced Immigration Officer to join our  Global Mobility team, supporting our clients and contractor workforce across PNG.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in PNG immigration, work permits, visas and compliance who enjoys working with attention to detail, ownership and exceptional client service are essential.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our clients’ employees and contractors are mobilised efficiently, remain compliant, and receive a seamless immigration experience throughout their assignment.

About the Role

As our Immigration Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing immigration  for both:

  • Our clients’ direct employees  requiring PNG immigration support.
  • Brunel contractor workforce, ensuring all work permits, visas and mobilisation requirements are completed accurately and on time.

You’ll become the subject matter expert for PNG immigration requirements and work closely with clients, Account Managers, contractors and government agencies to ensure compliance and timely processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end PNG immigration processes.
  • Prepare and lodge work permit and visa applications.
  • Coordinate Restricted Employment Visas (REVs), work permits and renewals.
  • Monitor visa and permit expiry dates to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Liaise with PNG government authorities and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide immigration advice and guidance to clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate immigration records ,documentation and reporting
  • Coordinate supporting documentation with candidates, contractors and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with PNG immigration legislation and changing regulatory requirements.
  • Support mobilisation planning and workforce deployment.
  • Identify and resolve immigration issues before they impact mobilisation schedules.
  • Continuously improve immigration processes and service delivery.

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys managing complex processes while providing outstanding service to clients and stakeholders.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in:

  • PNG immigration and work permit processing.
  • Global mobility or international workforce management.
  • Corporate immigration services.
  • Visa processing and compliance.
  • Government or migration administration.

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
