Broome Heliport, a division of Broome Shared Services, is owned and operated by the Broome International Airport Group (BIAG). It is one of the largest and best-equipped heliports in the Southern Hemisphere. This facility plays a vital role in transporting oil and gas personnel to operations in the Browse Basin offshore from the Kimberley coast.

About the position

Broome Heliport is currently seeking a fit, enthusiastic and energetic individual to join their high performing and friendly team as a Heliport Operations Officer, based at the Broome Heliport Facility in an ongoing basis, working up to 38 hours per week with potential overtime.

Main responsibilities include:

• Passenger Transfers

• Check-In

• Presentation of pre-flight safety briefs

• Security Screening

• Baggage and Freight Handling

• Administration and other duties as required

About the person we seek

To be eligible, candidates must have permanent working in Australia rights.

As the ideal candidate, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 21 years old with a current Australian driver licence.

• Permanent working in Australia rights.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule with rotating shifts, including on-call and weekends, up to 38 hours per week with potential overtime.

• Own accommodation and reliable transportation.

LR truck licence and Passenger Transport Driver authority is desirable.
