How You Can Play a Part
Reporting to the Head of Merchandise, the Casual Sales Assistant plays a key role in creating an exceptional retail experience for Broncos members and fans.
This is a customer-focused retail position where your ability to engage with customers, build rapport and deliver outstanding service will be just as important as your sales skills. Whether working on game day at Suncorp Stadium, in the Broncos Team Store, or at Club events, you’ll be responsible for creating memorable fan experiences while driving sales performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional face-to-face customer service and fan engagement
- Providing personalised product recommendations and upselling opportunities
- Achieving individual and team sales targets and KPIs
- Processing transactions accurately through POS systems
- Cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation
- Maintaining visual merchandising standards and store presentation
- Receiving, replenishing and managing stock
- Assisting with online order fulfilment as required
- Supporting game day, event and retail operations across the business
Successful candidates will predominantly be based at Suncorp Stadium during Brisbane Broncos home games, with additional opportunities available in the Broncos Team Store, at Club events and across eCommerce fulfilment operations.
The Broncos will play approximately 12 home games throughout the 2026 season. Applicants must be available to work at least 80% of home games and have strong weekend availability.
To Be Considered
We’re looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and thrive on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
You’ll bring:
- Previous experience in retail sales or a customer-facing environment
- A passion for providing outstanding face-to-face customer service
- Proven ability to build rapport and confidently engage with customers
- Experience achieving sales targets through product knowledge and upselling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently during busy trading periods and major events
- A positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Reliability, initiative and a strong work ethic
- Previous experience using POS systems and handling cash (desirable)
- Open driver’s licence (desirable but not essential)
