Description

The Lane Group is a well-established, multi-franchise dealership proudly serving Mandurah and its surroundings. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Interpreter to join our high-performing team.

In this role, you will manage one of our Parts counters while providing vital support to both the Service and Sales Departments. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate, efficient and timely supply of parts to our technicians and valued customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email and over-the-counter enquiries
  • Accurately identify and supply automotive parts using electronic catalogues and DMS
  • Prepare, process and manage quotes, orders, invoices and warranty claims
  • Source, order and receive parts, ensuring timely delivery to the workshop and retail clients
  • Maintain accurate stock levels through effective inventory control and stock management
  • Liaise with the Service Department to ensure technicians have the correct parts on time
  • Maintain clean, organised parts displays and a tidy workspace
  • Support showroom merchandising and promotional displays
  • Assist with stocktakes and compliance with manufacturer requirements
  • Provide technical advice on parts and accessories when required

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Parts Interpreter role (preferably within a dealership or trade environment)
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and genuine vs aftermarket parts
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to build rapport with technicians and trade clients
  • High level of computer literacy, with confidence using DMS systems, electronic catalogues and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Titan DMS or similar systems highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
