Description

Botanica Springs is seeking dedicated and passionate Educators to join the team! Educators will work with the Educational Leader and ECT to provide high-quality care and education for children in our service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. We’re hiring for Casual, Part Time, and Full Time positions!

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of child development milestones
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with children
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Educational Leader and ECT in planning and implementing age-appropriate experiences for children
  • Demonstrate active supervision of children during routines (meals, transitions, etc) and indoor and outdoor play
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for children at all times
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise as directed by the ECT
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive learning environment for all children

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Minimum Cert III)

Pre-requisite:

  • Current First Aid certification
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current Police Check
  • Completed Mandatory reporting training (Can be completed prior to employment)

Preferences

  • Previous experience working in a childcare setting
  • Minimum 3 days of availability
