Bowhill Engineering is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Robotic Welder Trade Assistant to join our Robotics Team.

No previous industry experience? No problem—we’ll provide the training.

If you’re reliable, hands-on, eager to learn and enjoy working as part of a team, we’ll provide the training you need to build a rewarding career in modern manufacturing.

Working alongside experienced Metal Fabricators and our Robotic Welding Team, you’ll play an important role in supporting the production of large, complex steel components using world-class robotic welding technology.

About the Role

As a Robotic Welder Trade Assistant, you’ll support our robotic welding operations by preparing materials, assisting production, moving components and helping keep projects running safely, efficiently and on schedule.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to begin a career in manufacturing, fabrication or robotics while learning from experienced tradespeople.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks including:

  • Assisting our Robotic Metal Fabricators with daily production activities
  • Supporting robotic welding operations
  • Loading, unloading and organising materials
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
  • Inspecting work and helping maintain quality standards
  • Following safe work procedures and company policies
  • Contributing ideas for continuous improvement
