About the role

The Wellfields Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the successful construction of the Honeymoon wellfields, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. Reporting into the Projects Superintendent, this role plays a key part in coordinating construction activities, supervising contractors and supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes for Honeymoon,

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the wellfield construction team to deliver safe, efficient and on-schedule work
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site procedures and controls
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, direction and support to site teams and contractors
  • Plan and coordinate construction and maintenance activities, resources and priorities
  • Coordinate contractors to meet design, quality and statutory requirements
  • Oversee mechanical and electrical construction, testing and commissioning activities
  • Interpret drawings, plans and technical documents to support site execution
  • Conduct inspections and audits and follow up actions promptly
  • Support forward planning to align maintenance with project and operational goals
  • Ensure plant, equipment and site assets are maintained to standard

About You

You will be an experienced mining or heavy industrial supervisor with a strong safety focus and the ability to lead teams in a dynamic site environment. You bring sound planning and coordination skills, strong communication and collaboration capability, and the ability to build trusted working relationships across teams and contractors.

The role will be FIFO from Adelaide or Port Augusta, direct to site on an 8:6 roster. We will also consider DIDO from Broken Hill.

The role is currently day shift only.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the mining industry, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in wellfield operations, ideally within ISR uranium mining
  • Experience working in accordance with safety, environment, health and radiation management plans
  • Strong leadership capability, including the ability to coach, mentor and develop others
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Computer skills across email, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Relevant trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical construction within a mining or heavy industrial environment, including pumps, instrumentation and automated control systems (PLCs/SCADA) highly regarded
  • Be fit to work in a remote location and be able to pass a pre-employment medical
  • A valid Australian driver’s license, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
  • Be able to pass a National Police Check
  • Have full Australian Work Rights
