Description

Blundstone is an iconic Australian boot brand with a global footprint, and we’re looking for a Graphic Designer to help shape how the brand looks and feels across every touchpoint.

This is a contract role for 12 months.

Reporting to the Global Creative Lead, you’ll work within our Global Brand and Marketing team to bring creative concepts to life across both B2C and B2B channels. You’ll collaborate closely with the creative team, photographers and stylists to keep our visual identity consistent and compelling, while helping maintain and evolve our brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing brand and creative concepts, rolling out assets for B2C communications such as POS, campaigns, activations, social media, e-commerce and print collateral including packaging
  • Assist in developing brand and creative concepts, rolling out assets for B2B communications such as presentations, lookbooks, data sheets and conference design
  • Work with the brand and marketing team to execute brand content and assets across owned and distributed channels, as agreed within annual plans
  • Collaborate with the creative team, photographers and stylists to ensure brand consistency across all visual outputs, and review market-created artwork and design as required
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive visual identity
  • Assist with photo retouching and image optimisation for online and print use
  • Stay across design trends, industry developments and emerging technologies
  • Prepare regular status reports on design projects, keeping the Global Creative Lead apprised of actions, timelines, outcomes and recommendations

What You’ll Bring

  • A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or demonstrated relevant experience
  • 3+ years’ graphic design experience, ideally working with consumer-facing brands in an agency environment
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and creative solutions
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office, with experience in Figma, Canva, Procreate, content management and AI-assisted content automation tools highly regarded
  • Demonstrated understanding of typography, colour theory and layout principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
