About the opportunity
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years bidding experience to join our pre-contracts team. The Strategic Bid Specialist is highly skilled, flexible, quick thinker who is extremely organised. Working within a fast-paced environment you will manage the end-to-end process for major tender submissions, with tailored response creation. This role involves juggling priorities, competing deadlines and collaboration within several business units, each with its own needs.
In this role, you will demonstrate:
- A high level of strategic thinking that can be converted into quality responses
- An ability to interpret complex requests and decipher the required actions
- Confidence to critically review and edit others written material
- Research skills and capacity to gather information with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- MS Word, Teams, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, SharePoint skills
- Willingness to work with innovative tools to complete tasks
About you
To be successful in the role of Strategic Bid Specialist, you will have:
- Proven ability to write persuasively without hyperbole
- Willingness to learn, take on new challenges and do what is required to get the submission complete
- A strong team mentality as well as the ability to work autonomously
- Tertiary qualifications in advertising, creative writing, or similar are highly regarded
- Capability to adapt to change, can work well under pressure and persist toward goals despite obstacles
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
