About the role

We are seeking Machine Operators to join our team at our Manufacturing Headquarters in Yandina on a permanent full-time basis. This role operates Monday to Friday, with multiple shift opportunities available

  • 6:00am – 2:06pm
  • 8:50am – 4:36pm
  • 9:54am – 5:40pm

To ensure a consistent onboarding and training experience, all successful candidates will initially commence on the 6:00am – 2:06pm shift. Once training has been successfully completed and competency has been demonstrated, employees will transition to their allocated permanent shift.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the precise cutting and shaping of melamine materials for furniture production. During quieter periods, you will also be required to support other areas of the business as needed.

You will play a key role in ensuring all products are manufactured to meet quality specifications and customer requirements, while maintaining efficiency across the production process. A strong safety-focused mindset is essential, with a commitment to following procedures, identifying hazards, and contributing to a safe and compliant working environment for yourself and your team.

What do you need for this role?

  • A great attitude and eagerness to learn – experience is not essential; we’re looking for reliable people with the right mindset and work ethic
  • Machine Operating or similar experience (highly regarded but not essential)
  • CNC experience (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Experience with hand tools
  • Strong attention to quality and safety
  • Reliable, physically fit and team oriented
  • Drivers licence & reliable vehicle
  • Ability to cover 6:00am – 2:06pm for the initial training period if you are allocated another shift time
  • Flexibility to support peak production periods (September to February), with limited availability for leave during this time
