Description

We’re seeking a reliable and customer-focused Furniture Installer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing education and commercial furniture and fit-out solutions, ensuring every project is completed to the high standards our customers expect.

As a key representative of BFX, you’ll work closely with customers on-site, providing professional service while ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:06pm. The role involves regular travel throughout Queensland and interstate, including overnight stays as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Deliver products to customer sites across Queensland and interstate
  • Assemble flat-pack furniture and commercial workstation systems
  • Install built-in cabinetry, reception counters, and acoustic solutions
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service
  • Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements

  • The ability and willingness to travel regularly for work, including overnight stays and extended periods away depending on project location
  • A current driver’s licence
  • A Construction White Card (essential)
  • The willingness and ability to obtain a Working with Children Check
  • Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A professional presentation and positive attitude
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
