Description

At Best Practice Software, our vision is communities connected with care. We’re achieving this through our mission to build a culture people love, where:

  • we value customers,
  • we work together for success,
  • we are accountable for our actions,
  • we innovate for the future, and
  • we celebrate diversity and inclusion.

If you share our vision and values, please consider this exciting career opportunity to join our growing team in Bundaberg, Queensland.

You’re unique, and we value that.

As an Account Administrator, we’ll call on your unique talents, skills, expertise, and experience to:

  • Managing the full customer licensing lifecycle — including subscription changes, renewals, SMS solutions, conversions, and merges — while keeping customers informed and engaged throughout each process;
  • Handling inbound and outbound customer enquiries and complaints with ownership, triaging complex matters to the appropriate teams and ensuring timely, satisfactory resolution;
  • Maintaining and updating CRM records, product documentation, and customer communications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a high standard of customer experience across every touchpoint;
  • Identifying and proposing improvements to end-to-end licensing and customer engagement processes — including call handling, CRM data capture, pre-sales collateral, and post-sale workflows — contributing meaningfully to the continuous evolution of the team’s capability;
  • Proactively contributing to the creation and maintenance of customer-facing communication tools — including product information, email templates, and pricing quotations — ensuring materials are current, accurate, and reflect the quality and professionalism of Best Practice Software.

We believe our ideal applicant will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Seasoned experience in stakeholder engagement across diverse internal and external audiences, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex customer relationships and resolve issues with confidence and professionalism;
  • A track record of working in a closely aligned functional role within a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, bringing established habits of accountability, reliability, and sound judgement;
  • Strong command of CRM systems and customer lifecycle management, with the discipline to maintain accurate, concise, and comprehensive records across every customer interaction;
  • Exceptional self-organisation and time management, with a proven capacity to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards without close supervision;
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style and tone across audiences — from frontline customer calls through to internal collaboration and documentation;
  • A grounded, values-driven professional who leads with transparency and integrity, and actively contributes to a positive team culture.
