About the role

As Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the warehouse based in Queanbeyan, NSW ensuring materials are received, stored, picked and dispatched correctly to support fabrication and assembly activities. You’ll lead by example, maintaining strong safety, quality and performance standards while developing your team and continuously improving warehouse processes.

You’ll work closely with leaders to ensure production schedules are supported and disruptions are minimised.

You can expect to:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receipting, storage, picking and dispatch
  • Lead, coach and coordinate warehouse staff to meet workload demands
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through effective stock control, cycle counts and reporting
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment
  • Operate and oversee forklifts and handling equipment safely and correctly
  • Coordinate material flow to support production and project timelines
  • Ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures and site requirements
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

What you’ll bring

Essential

  • Minimum five years’ experience in warehouse operations, logistics or materials handling
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, direct and motivate staff
  • Ability to liaise, influence and work effectively with contractors, consultants and other trades
  • Ability to read, interpret and work to specifications and schedules
  • Strong understanding of warehousing and logistics processes, WHS requirements and QA standards
  • Proven competence in hazard identification and risk management
  • Forklift High Risk Work Licence
  • Willing to complete a pre-employment medical

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within a warehouse environment
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • White Card, Silica Awareness and Asbestos Awareness
