Description

Hotel Manager, Noosa

We are looking for a hands-on Hotel Manager to run a small, well-established boutique hotel in the heart of Noosa. It’s a role for someone who wants full ownership of a property where their work directly shapes every guest’s experience.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will take full accountability for the hotel’s day to day operations, guest experience, financial performance, and team leadership, with regular hands-on involvement in front office work given the size of the property.

Day to day, this looks like:

  • Owning budgets, forecasting, cost control, and monthly reporting to ownership
  • Driving occupancy, ADR, and margin performance
  • Maintaining presentation, safety, and compliance standards (WHS, employment legislation, operational policies)
  • Managing the PMS, online reputation (reviews, OTAs), and day-to-day operational systems
  • Engaging with body corporate, owners, residents, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Adhering to Caretaking & Letting Agreements with the body corporate
  • Overseeing and supporting front office operations – stepping in on check-in/check-out, guest enquiries, and reservations to cover gaps or busy periods
  • Leading and rostering a small team across front office, housekeeping, and maintenance/contractors

About You

  • Experience as a Hotel Manager, Assistant Manager, or Front Office Manager in a small or boutique property
  • You enjoy hands-on, guest-facing work as much as the operational and financial side of the role
  • Experience in management rights or strata titled hotel environments (highly regarded)
  • Solid financial and commercial understanding – budgets, forecasting, reporting
  • A confident people leader who can manage and motivate a small team
  • Comfortable operating autonomously while reporting into a regional structure
  • Practical experience with a modern PMS, OTA/reputation management, and everyday hotel technology
  • Flexible availability to support the team with evenings, weekends, or shift coverage when needed

What We Offer

  • Autonomy & Trust – full ownership of your property, with clear governance and support from the Regional Operations Manager
  • Career Development – onboarding, leadership development, and progression pathways across our hotel, residential, and corporate portfolio
  • Noosa Lifestyle – live and work in one of Queensland’s most desirable coastal locations
  • Wellbeing Support – access to employee assistance and wellbeing resources
  • Professional Culture – a collaborative, accountable, and genuinely supportive team environment

How to Apply

If you want real ownership of a boutique hotel and enjoy being hands-on with guests every day, we would love to hear from you.
