Domestic & Personal Care Assistant

Baldwin Living is seeking a compassionate and reliable Domestic & Personal Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in a rewarding retirement village environment. About the Role

You will:

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, domestic tasks, mobility, meal preparation, and community participation
• Support residents with grooming, toileting, dressing, shopping and social engagement
• Basic cleaning of resident units, communal areas, and external spaces to a high standard
• Monitor residents’ needs, follow care plans, and report changes or concerns
• Maintain accurate communication and work cooperatively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Adhere to WHS, food safety, privacy, and aged care quality standards

About You

You will bring:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
• Experience supporting older people
• Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a resident-focused mindset
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safe and hygienic environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work varied hours and cover shifts
• A current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid Certificate (desirable)
