About the Role
Silky Oaks Lodge is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team, set within the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest. As a Room Attendant at
Silky Oaks Lodge, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a beautifully presented and immaculately maintained retreat throughout their stay.
Accommodation support provided if required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing guest rooms, suites and public areas to the highest standard
- Making beds, replenishing amenities and restocking linen and supplies
- Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or damage promptly
- Following housekeeping procedures and checklists accurately and efficiently
- Handling guest belongings with care and discretion
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of back-of-house areas
- Adhering to health, safety and hygiene standards at all times
About You
You are a hardworking and conscientious hospitality professional who takes pride in creating a spotless and welcoming environment for every guest.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or room attendant role
- Experience in a luxury, boutique or 5-star accommodation environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of presentation
- A reliable and positive attitude with the ability to work independently
- The ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Current Australian working rights
