About the Role

Southern Ocean Lodge is seeking a Handyperson to support the maintenance and upkeep of the lodge, ensuring a seamless guest experience in one of Australia’s most celebrated luxury destinations.

This hands-on role is essential to the smooth operation of the lodge, working behind the scenes to maintain facilities, respond to maintenance requests and complete preventative maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responding to day-to-day maintenance requests across the lodge
• Completing preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintaining lodge buildings, equipment and facilities to a high standard
• Assisting with general repairs and upkeep
• Supporting the team to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment
• Working collaboratively with all departments as needed

About You

You are a practical and reliable individual with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance. You take pride in your work and enjoy contributing to a high-quality environment.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a maintenance or handyperson role
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• A current driver’s licence
• Experience using tools, machinery and equipment
• A flexible, team-focused and hands-on approach
