Maintenance Handyperson | Barossa Valley, SA

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Handyperson to join our team at The Louise, a luxury lodge in the heart of the Barossa Valley. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all aspects of the property to ensure a flawless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and identify potential issues proactively
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest concerns
  • Assist with setup and pack down for events as needed
  • Conduct safety checks and keep accurate maintenance logs
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and facility

About You The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in hospitality
  • Trade qualifications or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of building repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Flexibility to be on call and work weekends when required
  • Full availability and no accommodation required
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation
