The Role

We are seeking a commercially driven Director of Solutions to lead the growth and market expansion of AZZO’s Power and Energy Solutions business across the United States. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, building executive-level customer relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth across key industry sectors. As the market leader for AZZO’s EnergyX® platform and solutions portfolio, you will identify new opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and champion innovative energy solutions that support the energy transition. Working closely with customers, partners, and the Executive Leadership Team, you will play a key role in delivering AZZO’s long-term growth strategy.

Location & Travel

This is a Remote or Hybrid position based within the United States. Regular travel of up to 30% is expected for customer meetings, executive stakeholder engagement, industry events, strategic account management, partner development activities, and internal business planning sessions.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy for AZZO’s Power and Energy Solutions business, driving sustainable revenue growth and market expansion across the United States.
  • Achieve annual sales revenue, gross margin, and business growth targets in alignment with company objectives.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a qualified sales pipeline capable of supporting long-term growth and forecasting accuracy.
  • Lead the pursuit, development, and conversion of strategic opportunities across Utilities, Defence, Industrial, Data Centre, Renewable Energy, and Microgrid sectors.

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline. An MBA or postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience within the power, energy, industrial automation, electrical infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy, or related technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing national sales strategies and consistently achieving revenue and profitability targets.
