The AQ School a vibrant, welcoming school for amazing autistic kids where every day is a little different, and we’re all about making school a safe, happy place for our students! We’re searching for a friendly, reliable permanent part time (Monday-Friday) AND casual School Bus Driver to join our crew! If you’re patient, love a good chat (or a peaceful drive), and want a job that really makes a difference, this could be for you. You’ll be the first smile our students see in the morning and the last wave goodbye in the afternoon.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving our students safely to and from school (no racing, just good vibes!).
- Working split shifts—so you’ll have the middle of the day to yourself.
- Greeting everyone with a smile and helping kids on and off the bus.
- Making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and welcome.
- Keeping the bus tidy and ready for action.
What You’ll Need:
- A valid Light Rigid (LR) driver’s licence.
- Drivers Authority.
- Flexibility to work split shifts across the week.
- Willingness to get a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and First Aid Certificate.
- Patience, kindness, and a calm attitude.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a team spirit.
