The roles:
We have both permanent part time and casual opportunities available at AQ School – Sunnybank.
- Permanent part time opportunity: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
- Casual Opportunity: Casual shifts available Monday-Friday.
Bus Aides assist with transporting smaller groups of students for pick-up and drop-off (with a maximum of 12 passengers) in our privately operated 12-seater school bus ensures a more personalised and safe experience. In this role you will assist children with boarding, buckling seat belts, and engaging the children in fun activities.
This role is supported day-to-day by a dedicated School Bus Manager, and you will work collaboratively within a team of committed aides and bus drivers who prioritise student wellbeing and effective teamwork.

While our top priority is finding people who share our genuine passion in supporting our clients, here are a few things the right person will be equipped with:
- Experience in escorting and/or transportation of children or community groups
(highly regarded).
- Proven ability to provide positive behaviour support to children with autism or other
disabilities.
- Working with Children Blue Card – or able to obtain.
- Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively within a team environment.
- Current First Aid qualification, Provide CPR qualification – or willing to obtain.
