About the Role
As a Risk Analyst, you’ll support AUSMASA’s Risk &
Compliance function by assisting with risk reporting, data analysis, governance
activities, and the ongoing maintenance of organisational risk processes.
Working closely with the Manager, Risk & Compliance,
this role provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early
career professional looking to build practical experience in enterprise risk,
governance, compliance, and organisational reporting within a national
organisation.
You’ll contribute to maintaining risk registers, preparing
reports and dashboards, coordinating risk activities, and supporting
stakeholders across the organisation to ensure risk information is accurate,
timely, and well managed.
This role suits someone who is analytical, organised,
detail-oriented, and eager to develop their skills in a supportive and
collaborative environment.
This is a Fixed -term, part time position until June 2028.
What You’ll Be Doing
·Support the maintenance and ongoing review of
enterprise and operational risk registers
·Assist in preparing risk reports, dashboards,
and briefing materials for internal stakeholders
·Help collect, analyse, and present risk data and
insights
·Monitor risk actions, reporting requirements,
and documentation to ensure records remain accurate and up to date
·Support the coordination of risk reviews,
reporting cycles, and governance activities
·Assist with maintaining reporting tools,
templates, and systems, including Power BI and Excel-based reporting
·Contribute to improvements in risk reporting
processes and data quality
·Work collaboratively with stakeholders across
the organisation to support risk and compliance activities
·Provide general administrative and project
support to the Risk & Compliance function
Who You Are
You’re a motivated and detail-focused individual looking to
build your career in risk, governance, or compliance. You enjoy working with
data and information, are naturally organised, and have strong written
communication skills.
You’ll bring:
·A relevant tertiary qualification in Business,
Commerce, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related discipline (or be
nearing completion)
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·High attention to detail and ability to manage
competing priorities
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·Confidence using Microsoft Office programs,
particularly Excel
·A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Even Better If You Also Have
·Previous experience in an administration,
reporting, governance, compliance, or risk-related role
·Exposure to reporting or visualisation tools
such as Power BI or Tableau
·Understanding of risk management or governance
principles
·Experience working within a not-for-profit,
government, or corporate environment

The salary band for this role is: $96,440 – $115,241.
