ABOUT THE ROLE – Cheltenham, VIC | Full Time | Ongoing
We’re looking for a proactive and relationship-focused
Partnership Manager to join our Commercial team and play a key role in delivering
exceptional outcomes for our commercial partners across Golf Australia, the PGA
of Australia, and the WPGA Tour of Australasia.
Working closely with the Head of Partnership Management and
the broader commercial team, this role is responsible for managing a growing
portfolio of strategic partnerships, ensuring the successful delivery of
integrated marketing initiatives across five strategic pillars: Brand, Tour
& Events, Broadcast, Data & Digital, and Membership & Community.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on
building strong stakeholder relationships, creating meaningful value for partners,
and delivering measurable value for both partners and our organisations.
Your impact:
Partnership Account
Management & Administration
- Managing and
strengthening partner relationships through high level account management, strong
and consistent communication, enhancing partner satisfaction and resulting in a
high NPS rating
- Developing and
implementing objectives-based marketing and leveraging plans for partners
- Continuing to build and grow relationships with
all partners and key individuals within their businesses
- Reporting back to partners regularly on
deliverables ensuring value and goal alignment, as well as conducting regular
partnership reviews
- Maintaining partnership
contacts, communications and contracts within the Australian Golf CRM
system (Salesforce)
Retention & Growth Strategy
- Completing a retention strategy and regularly
reviewing this for partners outlining key objectives and goals
- Proactively presenting partners with new or
growth opportunities in line with their and our objectives
- Influencing the growth of partner activations
across major events and partner leveraging campaigns
Stakeholder Management
- Working closely with the Business Development
team in negotiation & renewal discussions, and drafting of contracts, for
all partners
- Continuing to build internal relationships with
all GA and PGA departments to create opportunities and service partners effectively,
contributing to the achievement of the overall Australian Golf Strategic
objectives
You’ll Bring
- 3-5 years’ experience managing
partnerships as part of a commercial team within the sports industry.
- Demonstrated success and the ability to
work on marketing partnerships across multiple partners.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM desirable.
- Marketing or Sports Management Qualification.
- Proven ability to
manage communication and relationships with multiple stakeholders, with a
developed understanding of marketing partnerships in the sporting industry.
- Solutions-based and
future-focussed mindset with excellent time management abilities.
