Almond Processing Accountant

Seeking a focused and motivated ‘Hands-On’ Finance Professional to oversee the financial operations of an almond processing plant. The right candidate should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with over four years of experience in manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting -Prepare journals, manage accruals/prepayments, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and contribute to monthly/quarterly reporting and forecasts.

Budgeting & Cost Control – Assist in budgets, analyse variances, review Trial Balance, and provide financial insights. Provide timely, accurate financial insights that drive operational performance.

Capital & Fixed Assets -Track capital expenditure, maintain fixed asset register, process disposals/additions, and run depreciation.

Audit & Compliance -Support year-end close and liaise with external auditors.

Systems & Improvement – Champion NetSuite ERP, streamline processes, and deliver business analytics.

Qualifications and Experience:

·Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

·CPA/CA qualified.

·Minimum 4 years’ experience in financial accounting or management accounting.

·Strong skills in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite experience highly regarded).

·Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
