Our Child Care team are currently looking for an Administrator to join the team. This role will be responsible for general administration and supporting implementing a high-quality care and educational program at Hillsong Child Care Centre and in the “Strengthening Families’ Program.

Other aspects of this role include:

General Administration

  • Be proactive in knowledge and work in accordance with nationwide, statewide, church and other care service requirements
  • Manage finances, funding applications and maintain financial systems
  • Assist the Nominated Supervisor to prepare weekly acquittals and claims to government, departments, or providing other information as requested.
  • Data Entry – maintain databases and accurate records
  • Manage inquiries, enrolments, phone calls, respond to reports for authorities,
  • Provide administrative support to National Compliance & Development Manager on a state/national level

Children & Parents

  • Welcome each child & family upon arrival and departure.
  • Use a suitable tone of voice and communication style when speaking with children, other staff and parents.
  • Treat each child with dignity & respect.
  • Develop co-operative relationships with all parents, ensuring an efficient service operation with prompt performance of duties.

Community

  • Facilitate integration of families.
  • Respond to community requests.
  • Liaise with community agencies.
  • Support administrative systems for community development and promotion.

Child Care Portal

  • Oversee the child care portal including development, maintenance, user data
  • Input, upload, and keep all documents updated for the portal

Ideally the successful candidate will bring:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Children’s Services preferable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Child Care Legislation and Regulations which relate to the operation of a Child Care Centre.
  • Customer Service Skills
