Room Attendant

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our hospitality team in Fitzroy at the very trendy The StandardX. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience, contributing to the reputation the Hotel in the competitive hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Change bed linens, towels, and replenish guest supplies as required.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely.
• Assist in the laundry department as needed, ensuring linens are cleaned and folded.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly disposition.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy items as required.
