Credit Assistant

Summary:

This role supports our Senior Lending Managers and forms part of a small, nimble team in an entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will assist with communicating with stakeholders, investigating applications, and analysing loan proposals for construction and bridging facilities secured by Australian real estate.

Applicants must have valid Australian work rights at the time of application.

Skill and Experience:

We are open to candidates with strengths in one or more of the following areas:

• Understanding of property or construction metrics and relevant contracts; and/or
• Understanding of property valuation methodologies; and/or
• Understanding of financial analysis

In addition, you will demonstrate:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• A strong desire to work in an environment exposed to both finance and property
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply, with no minimum years of experience required in property, construction, or financial analysis

The successful applicant will hold a relevant degree in finance, property, construction, commerce, or a related discipline.

Acceptable degree fields include finance, property, construction, or accounting disciplines.
