The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is responsible for training, educating and representing psychiatrists in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. About the role
Fixed-term to 29 February 2028 | Part-time (0.6 FTE) | Melbourne, CBD (Hybrid)

This role supports delivery of the Military and Veterans’ Psychiatry Training Program (MVPTP), funded by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. You’ll play a key role in improving access to psychiatrists with specialist expertise in military and veteran mental health, contributing to better outcomes for these communities.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinating delivery of key MVPTP projects and initiatives
- Tracking timelines, milestones and budgets to keep work on track
- Gathering and analysing data to support reporting and evaluation
- Preparing reports, briefings and updates for stakeholders and committees
- Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting meetings, including agendas, minutes and action tracking
- Assisting with budget tracking and administrative processes
- Identifying improvements to strengthen program delivery and outcomes

What you’ll bring
- Experience in project coordination or program support
- Strong organisation skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels
- Proficiency with MS Office and digital systems
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or valid Australian work rights
