About Us
At ATC Williams, we apply forward-thinking engineering expertise to complex projects in the most challenging environments. We are an internationally recognised leader in the sustainable design and delivery of Tailings, Water, and Waste projects for the mining, resources and government sectors.
With around 250 people across Australia and Peru, we can work on big complex projects whilst still offering a supportive, close‑knit culture so our undergraduates are trusted, valued and supported from day one.
Please note our Brisbane office is currently located in Newmarket and will be relocating to Fortitude Valley August 2026.

How does the ATC Williams Undergraduate Pathway Work?
Undergraduate Vacation Placement – Begin at the Ground Up
Offering students paid work from November – February.
As an undergraduate you will:
- Work on real engineering projects with real deliverables.
- Attend site visits and gain practical field experience.
- Apply your university studies to real problems in tailings, waste and water engineering.
- Build confidence by working directly alongside senior engineers and their clients.

Momentum Program – Become a Rising Star
After a successful vacation program, you have the opportunity to:
- Work 1-2 days per week during term and/or university holidays.
- Fully flexible to fit around your university schedule.
- You will build on the skills you gained while on placement.
- Gaining experience across a project lifecycle, including; Technical Analysis, Assessment, Modelling and Reporting.
