As we continue to expand, we are on the hunt for a Project Administrator to join our team working out of our Fraser Coast Project (Gympie)site. The Project Administrator plays a crucial role in the delivery of construction projects within the building and construction industry. This position is essential for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

This is a fixed-term project position commencing in June 2026 and concluding 15th March 2027, with potential for extension.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers with contract drafting, review, and administration
  • Liaise with project, finance, and subcontractoirs to support contract execution
  • Maintain accurate project documentation (contracts, reports, correspondence)
  • Prepare project status reports
  • Coordinate communication between project teams, clients, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and company policies
  • Organise meetings, record minutes, and follow up on actions
  • Assist with financial administration, including cost tracking
  • Able to do ad-hoc duties as requested

About You

This position would suit a candidate who possesses the following:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a project administration role (construction preferred)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of construction WHS regulations and best practices
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with a focus on high-quality outcomes
  • Experience in multitasking within high pressure situations and environments
  • Experience in tracking and monitoring multiple project registrers
