What you will be working on
- Partnering with leaders as a trusted advisor across the employee lifecycle
- Providing sound, practical guidance on employee and industrial relations matters
- Supporting and improving key people processes, including performance and remuneration reviews
- Strengthening leadership capability through coaching, feedback and values-led support
- Leading or contributing to projects across culture, engagement, policy, systems and process improvement
- Using data, systems and emerging tools, including AI, to improve efficiency and employee experience
- Informally mentoring junior team members and contributing to a strong, collaborative PC&S function
A bit about you
You’re a true HR generalist with strong partnering capability and a calm, credible approach. You know how to balance empathy with accountability, and you’re comfortable supporting leaders through both day-to-day people matters and more complex situations. You bring strong judgement, employee and industrial relations confidence, and a practical mindset when it comes to improving how work gets done.
You’re also someone who builds trust through follow-through, communicates clearly, and enjoys helping leaders step up and own their people responsibilities.
Essential criteria
- Strong HR generalist experience across the employee lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience partnering with leaders in a business-facing HR role
- Strong employee and industrial relations knowledge, including experience managing more complex matters
- Experience owning or playing a key role in performance review and remuneration review processes
- Ability to coach leaders with clarity, confidence and care
- Strong communication, judgement and relationship-building skills
- Experience improving people processes, systems or ways of working
- Comfort using technology and AI tools to improve efficiency, insight or employee experience
- Ability to work effectively across distributed teams and changing priorities
Desirable criteria
- Experience across multi-site or international workforces
- Exposure to culture, engagement, EVP or leadership capability initiatives
- Involvement in mergers and acquisitions
- Experience leading people projects end-to-end
